Meet Porter
Porter’s Pup Treats is owned and operated by Porter Hinrichs, a 10 year old with a passion for helping dogs. His own dog, a goldendoodle, was his inspiration for creating this business at age 7. Porter’s Pup Treats was created to help all dogs be happy and healthy. We believe dogs should have nutrition rich ingredients in their food. Our treats are all organic and grain-free.
When my dog, Auggie, was younger he wasn’t feeling good. We figured out that his tummy didn’t agree with grain. I asked my mom if I could make treats that would make him feel good and that would be healthy. We played around with recipes and landed on our signature treat: Porter’s Peanut Butter Pumpkin treats. I make them in two sizes—small and large sized treats. I am working on new recipes all the time with my chief taste tester, Auggie. 🙂
